More than 23,000 individuals in Region 10 (Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington counties) ages 18 to 64 are without a high school diploma or equivalent. Adult education classes are offered in all six counties in the region at various convenient locations and times. View the site list here.
Adult education classes prepare students for the High School Equivalency Diploma exam and Accuplacer for entrance into Ivy Tech Community College. Adult education classes also offer career skills to help gain employment.

Anyone over the age of 18 who is not enrolled in school is eligible to attend free adult education classes. High School graduates as well as those without a diploma are welcome to attend for free college and career readiness services.
Adult education classes use individualized classroom instruction, online learning tools, and distance education to help adults reach their goals faster. Additionally, transition specialists are available to help adult education students transition into training, employment and post-secondary education.
