The 2015 Regional Business Expo is a unique opportunity to expose businesses to new regional opportunities for vendors, sales, employees and connections. With the fast pace of the global economy, it is easy to miss the opportunities in our own backyard. This exposition is designed to build regional business relationships and strengthen the business community, while providing a venue for consumers and job-seekers to explore opportunities. The event will be held at the Mid-America Science Park in Scottsburg, Ind., on August 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is open to the public with free admission and free parking.
With support from MODRoto and other sponsors, lead organizations from four counties have joined together to organize the event:
· Madison Area Chamber of Commerce
· Scott County Chamber of Commerce
· Washington County Chamber of Commerce
· Jennings County Chamber of Commerce
By assuming a regional focus, the Chambers are bringing their collective influence and membership to offer businesses access to regional buyers, job-seekers, customers and business leaders within the course of a single day. The Regional Business Expo allows businesses to put their products and services on display, and provides a unique forum to collaborate on best practices. The 2015 Regional Business Expo takes a leading role in building collaborative growth for our region.
The event more than doubled in size from 39 exhibitors in 2013 to 79 in 2014. There was a great deal of positive feedback after the 2014 event.
“I was pleasantly surprised with the turnout. It was much larger than I expected. I enjoyed the event and I had a lot of great conversations with other businesses,” said Phillip Richey, Centra Credit Union.
The expo is continuing to grow with approximately 90 booths already registered for the 2015 event. A list of exhibitors and registration information can be found at www.regionalbusinessexpo.com. Exhibit space is still available.
The 2015 Regional Business Expo will be held at the Mid-America Science Park in Scottsburg, Ind., on Wednesday, August 26 from 11:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. Exposition set-up will take place the morning of the event. Registration ends August 15.
