Industrial Maintenance Program Courses
AC/DC Electrical Systems
Students learn the fundamentals of AC/DC electrical systems used in industrial applicaons. Includes coursework on Ohm’s Law, series circuits, parallel circuits, combinaon circuits, transformers, switching, and the use of test equipment.
When: Tuesdays, June 7 – August 2
Times Offered: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. or 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Cost: $750
Motor Control/VFD
Students learn the fundamentals of motor control circuits using switching, relay logic and variable frequency drives. The hands-on trainer features a variable frequency AC drive, dual fuse block, emergency stop pushbutton with key-lock, multi-turn potentiometer for speed control, and three selector switches for general drive control, performing basic stop/start, ramping, and dynamic braking. A computerized fault insertion feature allows students to further develop their troubleshooting skills.
