MASPark will be hosting an open house to showcase the new Ivy Tech Welding Institute on April 15 from 10-11:30 a.m. Please join us for a tour of the Welding Institute, light refreshments and more.
The Scott County Economic Development Corporation and the City of Scottsburg are partnering with Ivy Tech Corporate College to provide a Welding Institute at the Mid-America Science Park. A wide spectrum of training opportunities are available for companies, employees and students.
Ivy Tech’s Welding Institute is a 40-week program that includes instruction and hands-on lab activities. Participants have an opportunity to train on state-of-the-art equipment, including robotic welders and welding simulators, in MASPark’s new welding lab. Classes are in session now.
