The Mid-America Science Park welcomed 3D printing company Tangible Solutions to Scottsburg on Sept. 3. The company is the latest addition to MASPark’s Business Incubation and Acceleration Center located in Southern Indiana. MASPark offers specialized amenities and a business services team support for entrepreneurs navigating product development and growth.
Tangible Solutions was founded in Dayton, Ohio, and provides 3D printing, 3D scanning and engineering design services. The company offers a wide range of materials for evaluating prototypes, including engineering-grade thermoplastics, simulated overmolds, multiple durometer rubbers and high quality metals.
Adam Clark, chief strategy officer for Tangible Solutions, noted MASPark’s central location and proximity to a number of key industries as well as the onsite team and resources available to the company as it expands into Indiana.
As part of the grand opening ceremony, Tangible Solutions offered its popular Leadership Breakfast Briefing to area executives, manufacturers and entrepreneurs with an interest 3D printing. Attendees learned how 3D printing works, industry applications and the technology’s future outlook. The next Breakfast Briefing is scheduled for Oct. 8.
Tangible Solutions also plans to host a full-day Midwest Additive Manufacturing and Defense Conference on Nov. 5. Registration and details will be released at a later date.
